Help with profile

Lap Band on 02/10/11
Please help me!  I have been trying to upload to get an avatar and the computer keeps telling me my pics are too big.  I have put them to the specs. it tells me too.  I even tried to just put up a generic pic and it wouldn't let me.  Please tell me what the heck I am doing wrong!!  Thanks
