I'm 2 1/2 years out but I haven't been sick to have to ask.

If you know, please let me know.

Thanks

I take Zyrtec daily.. the only thing I have read is not to take time release if you have to cut it.   I will admit that I have done that though with a sudaphed in an emergency once and I am still alive. lol

You can take time-released medications whole but should not cut or crush them because it will take away the time-release quality. The medication will still work, but not as long as it would if the pill was taken as a whole. I believe there is a zyrtec in liquid and chewable form.

interesting topic as I was told "no" to any time released meds because the stomach size is significately smaller with the LB.
