Last and Final meeting w/surgeon ended in a SCREAMING match!!
I can't help with finding another surgeon, but I have to say that I'd be mighty tempted to (after you've calmed down) contact at least three local media outlets - print, TV, and radio, as well as Ethicon Endo Surgery, and suggest that they look into the matter.

Don't know how things work in the US but if this happened in the UK, I would be writing (calmly not emotionally!) to the General Medical Council which in the UK is the official body which monitors doctors. No-one can practise medicine without being registered with them and they investigate all complaints against docs. Because it is not a docs' association (that is the British Medical Association) the GMC is not biased in favour of the doctor!
Nothing to do with suing etc, just with ascertaining a doc's suitability to be a doc!
But a note of caution - posting on here under UK law would count as publishing and your thread could therefore legally be libellous. If your doc did take this to the courts, you would have to prove what you say and (although I totally believe you) in a court of law a doc might find it easier to make his case than you would yours! The professional expert against (he would argue!!) an hysterical patient who didn't do as she was told. NOT NOT what I am saying!!!
I think in your place, i might be tempted to play safe and delete this thread!!

Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!
But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
So this is interesting - the day after I had the blow up with the surgeon someone replied to my post. This is what I got:
"Hi Christine,
I just read your posts, so sorry you feel that way. I'm also a patient of Dr. Binenbaum, and I found him to be very caring. He wants his patients reach their goal weight, but as we all know the band is a tool. We have watch what we eat, remember what Sam has taught us....portion control. Excersise is another important part of any weight loss program. The support groups have also helped me thru this weight loss journey. Even sitting in the waiting room on the days I come see Dr. Binenbaum, I enjoy the conversations with the other patients, I have made friends with many.
I think you should consider seeing the Dietian again, I have even joined weigh****chers to help me with my meal plans, go to support group meetings, and excercise. It's hard to lose the weight, but I'm reaching my goal thanks to the wonderful staff and Dr. Binenbaum. He does care very much for his patients.
Irene"
I thought it was find of odd that a cheerleader for this guy suddenly appeared so I asked a simple question of "Irene". I asked her :
"Irene - Just curious: when did you have your surgery and how much have you lost ? "
She comes back with this:
“Hi Christine, I had my surgery last April and have lost 60lbs to date. I do struggle everyday, but it's worth it. Irene"
Yeah, a little TOO convienent if you ask me. So I posted this:
"That's interesting. You had the surgery last April, so April of 2010 yet you just joined OH this past February of 2011. Also kind of wondering why you have no profile picture or information when most people set that stuff up as soon as they join - which is normally before they have any kind of surgery to get the info and support they need.
Sorry - not buying that you are an actual patient. All too convenient that you come out in support of this guy so suddenly.
Just another example of how unethical and unprofessional he is."
I also blocked the member. It will really be unbelieveable if this is someone from his office. In fact I think I know who it is just by the way the posts are written.
This would also explain how he "heard" what I wrote about malpractice in February - right after this "patient" joined.
In my opinion this "patient" is clearly a member of his staff. I wonder if there is any way to report members on here.
Thanks for listening
Christine
