Hi Everyone,   I just wanted to share this info with you all, especially for all us "Newbies" that are just about to begin our new lifestyle and have tones of questions.    I ordered "Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies" from Amazon and it came the other day.  I am so thrilled with it, and I know that some of you more seasoned banders have mixed feelings about this book, but I think it's totally awesome.   I've been reading it after work each day and finding so much helpful information, lots of which I'm finding on our Forum here.  So I just wanted to share my excitement about it all and if you've got lots of questions or just need to have information in front of you to read.....make sure you get this for your library.  It's totally worth the $14.95.

I think it's always good to read any information pertaining to a surgery you are either going to have or have had. You have to try to get all the information you can get. You need the pros and the cons in order to become well informed on a particular subject. Thanks for the suggestion, I will definitely look into it.

Knowledge - you gotta love it!! :)  I actually did buy that book in the beginning.  It was okay, but found it did not really cater enough to my specific bandster issues and needs which are so much different.  If you think that one is good....this one is 100% dedicated to lap-band journeys, before, during and after: "Bandwagon" by Jean McMillan.  You'll LOVE it.  :)  After you read the one you just bought, of course.
