You'll do great...don't you love your doc...he was mine too.    I'm exactly 4 weeks ahead of you.  I had my surgery on 2/25.   I don't get my first fill until April 6.  He wanted to do it a week earlier but my schedule was too tight so I had to book it a week later.

So far so good though, my clothes are already getting loose!

You will be fine. Everyone here has been through these emotions, am I doing the right thing, will it work for me etc. Just remember like everyone on here says, you didn't gain it overnight you won't lose it overnight. Don't forget to take a pillow for the ride home to put between you and seat belt. Any questions, just ask everyone here is here to help and support you!!!

I walked 10 min every hour!! I NEVER got the gas everyone talked about!!! I'm a lil over 4 months post-op and I've lost over 40 pounds now!!! I love my band and I'd do it all again!!! Best of luck to you for your upcoming surgery Tamara!!  Liquids suck (for me anyway lol) but it's only temporary and a new life is right around the corner.  You're going to do great!!!

Normal to be scared. I remember feeling the same way when I had my initial surgery.  I'm going in for a port revision on Friday and I'm scared all over again.

You will be fine. I think everyone goes through this stage. You will have some discomfort, but it's not going to be what you think. It is very tolerable and well worth it. Make sure you buy something for gas because that's the biggest discomfort. Your doctor will probably give you some pain meds too.
