Crystal --
I never blended anything (the thought of that texture makes me gag).
I lived on yogurt, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup and 'protein pudding (I added protein powder to the dry pudding mix, and then made it up with milk****il I was allowed to have soft food.
Then, I ate well-mixed tuna salad and egg salad. I made the Baked Ricotta (like lasagna without noodles) and lived on that for about a week.
Then, I was back to real food.
Hang in there -- you can do this!!

There are very few food rules we have to follow but one or two are sacrosanct and must never be broken. Those are any specific instructions given to you by your doc to allow healing to take place uninterrupted.
If your doc said that this is to be your post-op diet, than that is what it must be!
Having said that, for my puree stage i just made very thick soups. Tasted good, lots of protein, variety of flavours.
