Salads
Not even a little. I am 2 months out yesterday and salads are just now something that I can really handle with no worries. And when I saw no worries, I still have to cut the lettuce into really small pieces and eat them VERY slowly. If they don't have any sort of lean protein on them, I almost don't think they are worth it at this point.
But...everyone is different. You may find them absolutely perfect for you and have no problems whatsoever.

I've read that for some, salads are like a slider food and it goes right on through and some can't tolerate them. I chew very carefully.
I had one for the first time in February and it felt like a lump in my chest all day. (It also happened to be the day before I went for my first fill). My doctor said some can tolerate it and some can't. I happen to be one that can't, which stinks cause I love lettuce. So far this is the only food I have had a problem with.

I will be 5 weeks out on Thursday (banded 2/17/11). I have been eating salads just within the last week but have not had any issues. I make sure to eat protein first or at least add some protein to my salad. I chew very well. I won't go in for a fill until the 30th of this month. I hope to continue to tolerate salads as I love them.
