Price of fills?

I'm an out of pocket bander!   My fills with my NP cost $130.00. 

That sounds way out of line...my clinic (affiliated with a large hospital) charges $120 for fills (under flouro) total and my co-pay is $10...

I can see the providers charging insurance companies a bit more to cover the cost of the insurance specialists that do the filing, appealing, etc, but not to the extent your hospital has done.

Some of us who self paid are biting our lip.  Anyway I purchased a five year follow up.  Eventually when you get to good restriction you will not need any more fills.  I do agree that the insurance and doctors are making way too much money over this.

My point to all of this is that the surgery center has already been paid  657.36  now they want an additional 281.72 from me thats a total of 939.08  If I had no insurance they would get maybe half of the self pay fee of 250.00 =   125.00.   THATS 814.08 OVER THE SELF PAY RATE!
