Super Whey Protein Shots

Does anyone use the body fortress super whey protein shots after a workout? I justed posted a picture on my facebook wall because my sister asked me what it was & I got some weightloss peeps telling me that their NUT told them they can't have them! Saying it's not a complete protein. It's Whey Isolate & clearly says ultimate recovery fuel on here! And says do not use for weight reduction. That's not what I'm doing! I prefer that quick shot with 110 cals/1 carb/ 26 protein better than having a protein shake.

Anyone else use these?!

nope, but it sounds interesting.  how big is the shot?  it would've been nice to had these my first three weeks when trying to get down all of the protein shake.

Seems like I've read on other forums that we don't digest the shots because of what they are made of. It's a different type of protein than we need.

I've heard that about other brands because of collagen but not whey I would think they would be fine. Where do you get those?

Carrie:

They sell them at Walmart/Target and GNC. They clearly say Whey Isolate on the back! They are from Body Fortress.

I've had them DURING a workout. The 25g protein shots at Walmart are the best. The 49 g. shots are horrific (YUK). I like to partially freeze mine or put it in a 0 calorie Powerade or Crystal Lite lemonade. It tastes like fruit punch!

I have been drinking them since my surgery back in February. I prefer them to the thick protein drinks. My nutritionist said they were ok, especially for those of us who are lactose intolerant..Just another option to get in our protein...
