Back when I had my surgery I knew what I was supposed to be taking daily, and now I have no idea. Can anyone remind me what the levels are for our nurtritional needs. I know some of them are not completely inline with the RDA levels that can run low. I also remember one of them has to be taken on its own because it doesn't absorb well with something else.

Thanks for any info.

Well I was just told to take one standard multi-vit a day. So that's what I do!

Actually, not quite true, i also take calcium - but that is because i am post-menopausal, not because of my band.

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Thanks, I also have to take iron at a different time but I ended up getting a pretty good multi vitamin.

If you have iron in your multivitamin and you take calcium then you will need to wait a few hours to take your calcium.  Iron prevents the calcium from being absorbed fully.

I take a calcium with D pill because my gyno told me to start as a preventative measure....I'm 39.

I take 4 Bariatric Advantage Calcium chewables daily, a Centrum multi vitamin chewable, vitamin D 5000 IU and I had to have an iron shot recently. I had to start taking vitamin D recently because they found me to be deficient.
