Did I mention I really HATE the Protein crappy drinks LOL
OMG I need you all so much... I've tried the EAS Carb Control Vanilla & Chocolate and I have to plug my nose to get it down.. *Gag*
Someone PLEASE tell me a secret for a protein out there that doesn't taste so horrible.. :( Or give me some pointers to add to it or something... *still gagging at the thought* LOL
I have a weak tolerance for weird tasting stuff that I'll throw it up as soon as it hits my mouth... it's just horrible.. :(
I need you!!!
Thanks Gang.. y'all rawk! :)

Sorry. I haven't really found one that I could tolerate on a daily basis. I do like the EAS Myoplex Lite chocolate good enough, but I sure don't love it. :)

I used Unjury. The choc and also the Vanilla flavors. At a point I got sick of the sweetness of them and found Zero Carb Isopure. It comes in a 20 oz glass bottle and I like the Grape Frost flavor. It's more like a diluted Kool Aid, but not so sweet. It has 40 grams of protein in it. GNC carries it and I also ordered online from Amazon.com. It was only like $1 more with the shipping compared to GNC's price.
Some use the Unjury Chicken broth flavor and there's also a "unflavored" powder, but they all have a flavor. I think you can order samples from Unjury.com.
Good luck,
Kristi

I too have trouble with nasty protein drinks. I do like the Atkins Shakes with 15g of protein, however I prefer the Bariatric Eating site, with thier Italian cuppachino drinks....yes they are expensive and even more so when you add in shipping, but I can tolerate the taste far better than anything else, I guess it is because it is not so think. They also have protein water, that has taken me some time to get use too.
I hope this helps, and best of luck

I know, it's hard for me too. I'm a big baby if I have to take liquid medicine too like cough syrup or something!!! I take it and do a dance after!!!!! LOL Yuck!
I went into GNC not knowing what to get. The girl suggested her best seller and I tried the chocolate. I actually loved it!! Tasted just like a choc shake to me. It is called Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60. Later I tried the banana and soon hated it. Back to the gagging. I love bananas and it does taste like banana but something about it made me sick of it real fast. Stick to the chocolate!!!
Good luck with your surgery!

I hate them too. I lived on Unjury creamy chicken soup and a protein cappuccino my surgeons office sells. It is also for sale online. I still rely on these two things for after fills and stuck episodes. I never have found anything else I can hack. Good luck!
Do you have to have them? My nut was perfectly happy with me making high protein soups - all natural ingredients, no nasty chemicals and any taste I wanted.
OK so I had to have a bit more quantity than with the shakes, but for me that was a small price to pay.
Just get any soup base (I made my own but any healthy option can or carton), add somerthing like chick peas, soya beans, lentils, kidney beans for protein, blend until smooth.
High protein, healthy, tastes good. Who needs chemical additives?
