My surgery is scheduled for April 6Th -  I am SO EXCITED! Any advice on making it through the two week pre-op? I know I can do it because I am so ready for this.... but I welcome any suggestions.

just make sure you get in enough proteins.  it will stave off hunger and keep your energy level up.  my fav, chocolate classic protein shake,  get it at unjury.com; mix w skim milk for more protein punch.

I HATED the pre-op diet.  I got so sick of shakes and chicken broth and jello.  But, it is worth it in the long run.  Just keep telling yourself that you can do it and try to keep your mind off of the food that you aren't eating, lol.

Have you taken the "before" pictures and measurements?  Now is the time if you haven't!  You will appreciate them later on down the road.  Take lots of pictures!

Good luck and April 6th will always be a special day to celebrate the start of your new journey towards better health!

Good advice Kristi! I will take my measurements tonight and and gather up some recent pictures. I have have been documenting everything since I started so pictures and measurements would be a great addition. You sure have done well! It is so awesome to see all of these great success stories!
Thanks again!

The first three days are the hardest they are not easy at all. You will be hungry, moody and probably tired.  I slept alot them two weeks I didnt have the energy to do anything .

I was allowed two shakes a day and 4 oz of protein at night with a 1/2 cup of veggies and all the jello I could eat .

Now, I will be honest I did cheat I just can not go to bed hungry at night and I did most nights so I would drink a glass of milk before bedtime.  That really helped with the hunger issues.   At least it kept my belly from growling when trying to sleep lol.

Good luck :o)
