I feel dumb for not knowing or maybe I just don't want to exercise my brain :), but how do you determine the % of your weight loss?
Just curious to see what mine is.
I started at 256 in Feb. 2010, and today I am 162.

You have lost right around 36.7%. All I did was take how much you lost. Which is 94 pounds and then you take a percentage of 256 pounds till you reach the 94 pounds. Sounds confusing but its not. I took 256 and started with multiplying that by 40% and that was too high, so I worked my way down. This is also off of your whole weight. You have probably lost more percentage than that if you go by excess weight. Not knowing how much you are supposed to weigh for your height I can't determine how much percentage of your excess weight you have lost. Hope this helps.

Divide your current weight by your starting weight.
so -- 162 divided by 256 says that you have lost 63% of your starting weight.
Now --- you can also say
Goal weight = 150
Start weight = 256
Today's weight = 162
You have 106 pounds of 'excess' body weight when you started (256 minus 150)
You have lost 94 pounds of your excess body weight
You have lost 92% of your excess body weight (94 divided by 106).
does that help you??
