Banded 5/09...dropped 120#s...still trying to fight off these last 45. I decided to go back to the basics...pulled out the ole food journals, switchin up my workouts, and I used to get on this website every day. You would think after almost 3 years that bad habits would be completely dead, but somehow they seem to revive! Gotta keep myself in check because I gained a couple of pounds and I am not willing to let that keep happening!

So easy to relax! And it can happen so gradually that we don't realise it is happening!

Best wishes! I maintain for months, really relaxed. Then realise I am a few pounds up and so go right back to how I ate at about 2 months out! Going back to basics works for me every time!

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Good catch :) Isnt it funny how we think "oh I GOT this"  then suddenly you look back and some of your choices not so great....  I am having to do a bit of "catching" myself :)  Keep me posted I know you are going to do great.

I need help and support on getting back on track.  I have lost 60 lbs since my lapband surgery in Feb. 08.
However, my father passed away 6 weeks ago and I have gained back about 7 lbs.  I need a plan on getting back on track.  I find that I am eating just to eat.  I would appreciate any suggestions.  Thank you!

Start with the basics.....protein, protein and more protein. I fills you and keeps you full. Don't drink a before or during meals and wait a half hour after you finish before drinking (keeps the pouch full longer). Weigh and measure and keep yourself hydrated. It's the head hunger that gets in the way. Also, exercise wouldn't hurt and will give your weight loss a boost.  Best of luck!!
