Do you get emotional after surgery?

 after I had my surgery, I was crying from the pain, however.....

a few days later, i was crying from being so grateful that I never have to worry about food again.

I am a compulsive overeater, so the band has eliminated that emotional eating....i can't do it....

so my emotions of happiness poured out of me and I cried like a baby for a few days !!!
