So, I have been bitten...by the Bodybugg.  I came on Tuesday and for the past two day, I am kind of obsessed with it. It is one smart little bugger. Measures your calories burned, steps taken, let's you calculate the calories burned during a specific activity and so much more. The web component had a food log so that I can see my calories consumed. If I'm at a calorie deficit consistently, I should lose weight that week. It's a busy bugg!! I just hope it's accurate.  We'll see!! I'll keep you posted on the lil' bugger!!

I bought the FitBit, which is similar to the Bodybugg. Only differences are: it was only $99 and free shipping, and the site is free to use if you bought the FitBit. I love mine! I wore mine on the treadmill and it calculated, in my opinion, calories better than the treadmill because it has your stride programmed into it. The FitBit also measures your sleep patterns, which I thought was pretty neat because the BodyBugg doesn't even offer that option.

Just an idea, if people wanted something like the Bodybugg, but wanted to save $$$

Good luck on your journey!!!

I also have the Bugg and I LOVE mine.  It is a great tool to hold yourself accountable.  For years the Dr. said eat less and move more....  that is very general and it left it to me to figure out.  The bugg gives me numbers (( I get numbers) and with the display watch you can really keep an eye on it.  Welcome to the buggers and keep me informed how it goes.

Cool!  I've heard others say great things about it!  I've been tempted, but haven't felt like I could splurge.

I really want to get one of those, but the cost has kept me from getting one.  Ive never heard of fitbit, I will have to look into them.  Thanks for the heads up
