Hi All!

Only 15 more lbs. until I reach "onederland."  Trying to think of something to reward myself. The only think that comes to mind is getting a message (and not being totally humiliated under the towel.) How I would love to get one. Any other suggestions or ideas? Maybe you can tell me something you did to reward yourself.

I bought myself a Pandora when I reached my Weigh****cher's goal.

I buy charms now every month ---- instead of paying WW (since I am now Lifetime) I buy myself a charm for every month that I maintain my weight loss.

Kath, How did you do WW w/ the band?  I didn't think we could eat enough to get our points in?  I loved loved loved WW, but I didn't know we could do that w/ band?  If we can thats wondeful!  I was thinking something closer to Atikins, because i'm already "carb" free!!  Any input would be fantastic!!  thanks so much!

I go to WW meetings.  I have not told them that I have a band.

I use the meetings for support and accountability.  I did not eat all of my allowed points.
I focused on the Good Health Guidelines and on the Weigh****cher's 'filling foods'.

As I got closer to goal, and now lifetime, I find that I can eat my allotted WW points and maintain nicely.

I lost 131 pounds -- actually, seem to be down about 3 more, but won't know officially until Saturday morning.

Once i have lost my 100lbs I am getting a tattoo...I haven't ever gotten one, so I'm excited!  I have a long way to go, but I can tell you that I will be rewarding myself with non-food things this go round.  I think that after not being able to "eat" due to pre op diet, it has really put into perspective on how much I relied of food and how much I use food as a "treat"...My kids do well on there report card, I say, "you can pick were we eat tonight"....WOW why?  why not, lets get our nails done, or lets see a movie, or lets just spend the day together visiting different parks or window shopping downtown...So many different things to do other then eat, and it has taken me 31 years to understand that.

I can't wait to hear what you decided to do....Maybe new outfit or new purse or a new pair of shoes.  If you work out, new treadmill?  A day at the massage parlor!   Good luck and CONGRATS!!!

That's my 100 pounds lost reward too! I'm SO excited about it. I'm getting a phoenix with a lotus flower coming up out of the wings on the inside of my left wrist. Where I'll always see it and it will always remind of how far I've come.

Hiya Jen

When I first read your post, I felt a slight pang of jealousy until it DAWNED on me that I'm that close to Onederland too.  LOL.  Still hanging on  to that fat mentality, i guess!   I have NO idea what I want to reward myself with...guess I better start thinking about it!  A full body massage DOES sound enticing but I think I'd rather have a visual reminder like a  new pair of boots that fit on these calves
