Sorry your band has not helped you as you hoped it would. My very best wishes for your sleeve. I understand it is a good wls choice.

Thanks for posting. I post here often about my band problems but they like to act like I am the only one with band problems and should just shut up about it!

There are tons more ppl like us. Most however will NOT post on the band forum b/c of how nasty they have seen other bandsters treated when they post a problem!!!

Join the club hon, there are lots of us here that feel the same way. If you check out the sleeve board there are so many band to sleeve revisions you wouldn't believe! I have the same problem and am debating another partial unfill now because I want to be able to eat the nice garden fresh veggies this summer and am sick of having to cook everything to death to get it soft enough to eat. Wish you the very best on your revision!!!

Right now I'm grappling with suddenly being too tight after not having a fill since early January.  I was out of town last weekend and got stuck at pretty much every meal.  Luckily I was with another bandster that understood my mad dashes to the bathroom.  I'm chalking that up to flying and not remembering to drink enough water.

Since being home I've had a cold and started my period, both of which individually make me tighter.

I couldn't tell you where I am weightwise as I've been boycotting the scale.

Thank you.  I found it in the book Push. The movie 'Precious' is based on it.

I'm just a few days shy of 3 years out and am 20 + pounds heavier than when I went in for my consult, 30+ heavier than the day of surgery, and 60 +- pounds heavier than my post band lowest. I have been WAY overfilled, not filled enough, and so on. It DOES get tiring. Not to mention stuck episodes on the most rediculous of things (some days applesauce doesn't even want to go down...and I am at 3cc in my 10cc band). The band didn't help me much, and I am not expecting it to in the future. I've settled with the fact that I gotta do it myself. No insurance and no money to attempt anything else. (Honestly, I don't know if I would put myself through another surgery) I wish you the best of luck with your weight loss...no matter how you do it. The band works great for many, but does NOT for many as well.
