HUGE NSV!  And it sounds like you have an incredible support system.  It helps so much.  You are inspiring me to try something new and exciting (perhaps skydiving - I have a major fear of heights I need to conquer).  Thanks for that. :)

Lisa -- I was in LA a few weeks ago, and my sister and I had lunch at the Universal Studios City Walk.

They have this thing called "I FLY HOLLYWOOD" --- and it is a big tube with a wire/mesh floor.
They have this huge air blower down below.

You put on goggles and a helmet and a flight suit (over your clothes) -- and you step in to the chamber with your arms out (like Superman) -- there is an instructor and he helps to guide you as you 'fly' around the tube ----- it seems to be the closest thing to skydiving without actually jumping out of a plane.

You should check it out!
