How can you tell??

How can you tell when your band slips? Just wondering...

heartburn...
problems eating

usually you can just tell something is off.. it's not always a slip sometimes an unfil is needed for a short period of time all goes back to normal

We don't all feel things the same way but the most common sign is extreme tightness, even sometimes  to the point of not being able to swallow saliva. This is because the stomach tissue has come up through the band opening and basically filled it. With a less extreme case, if might just be being much tighter than usual and having heartburn/reflux.

Rarely, the band can slide up the stomach and so is then round the oesophagus - so becoming very loose. But this would only happen if all the sutures ruptured! Not all that likely!
