I'm not a big fan of reality shows.  I did watch Big medicine a couple of times.  I guess I think the people are too whiney and start crying like big babies to often.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Heavy on A&E.     A lot of people ask why I enjoy watching shows about obesity... and honestly, its because I sometimes need to be reminded of the person I was....  and the person I've now become.

Last night's episode featured a lady who ate a meal, while another meal is cooking. I can relate to that.  I used to be that person.  Hence, why I ballooned to 330 lbs.

I also feel this great sense of pride for these people.  They've made the decision to change their lives, as we all have and its fantastic.

I also enjoy "I Use to Be Fat" on MTV.

I used to watch "Brookhaven" too.   I havent seen that one in awhile.

I used to watch "Ruby" as well.  But the show has changed directions from her weight loss, to other issues.   And for me personally, I'm not a fan.

I've never seen "Big Medicine" though.  I may have to look for that.

I like most shows that cover obesity and/or family relationships (including Big Medicine,  Ruby, Specials by Discovery Health on individuals over coming obesity, Duggars, Little Couple, Sister Wives and for the sheer fascination of watching such hugely freakish relationships -- The Kardashians in small doses).

I also like any shows with plastic surgery but I have to watch them like a horror movie, with my hands over my eyes when they show the surgery. Sure can't eat and watch TV with one of those shows on! I haven'****ched any plastics shows in a long time -- any good ones out? is Dr. Rey still on?

I like the Ruby show, but seriously each show only had about 10 minitues of new information that rest is just commercials and stretching it out to the next chimerical -- shee****his isn't just the Ruby show, most shows do this. Ruby's "relationship" with Denny has got to win the world's most dysfunctional relationship EVER medal.

Have you ever seen the show (on last season, haven't come across it again) with the Coles family? Mom, Dad, son and daughter all were very obese and trying to lose weight.  I really liked that show -- they seem to be very loving to each other from what I saw. Because they were all in it together I was thinking they stood a good chance of success. Does anyone know if they are still on? It was call "Big Happy Family" or something like that.

I watch Heavy and Too Fat for 15 and I love them both.  I am glad that is see other people doing the things I would do like hidng food and  ordering different meals at different time from fast food places so no would think "didn't she just leave here?". I used to love Fit TV and now to me it is crap.  They have changed the name to Discovery Health and Fit TV now. I loved the All Star workouts, Fit Doctor and National Body Challenges. All they have now for the most part are what I call Freak TV, people with over sized or too small body parts and my all time favorite I WOULDN'T WATCH IT IF IS WAS THE LAST THING ON TV...Dr. G Medical Examiner. What's healthy or fit about that?
