Thanks to all that responded and please keep responding if possible.I had an unfill about three weeks ago due to being too tight then had that fill put back in due eating all things not nailed down and being so hungry that I seriously thought of driving to a fast food place at 2 am. This is the one thing I VOWED I would not return to because when that happens all bets are off.
I'm honestly not ready to try another fill at this time but I will do so if I don't see results from above suggestions and find that my appetite is increasing by next month. I know what too tight fills like and it is very scary for me. I just don't want to go on vaca and get too tight there with no doctor within reach if I can put it off.
So does that mean that you have never reached your "sweet spot"?

Good Morning Maria...I am just curious. What is your fill level and what size band do you have. I have read several time that you dont have restrictions and I am just curious what your level is.Oh yay! more "support"!
The size and amount is irrelevent. Let's be honest here. U do NOT care. U only want me to respond to you can criticize and pic apart whatver answer I give you.
Your band may have worked for u, and I am very happy it has. However mine does NOT work! Why don't u just count your blessing that u have a working band and stop trying to make those that don't feel worse about NOT having a working band?!
Maria, I find it sad that you are so bitter that you can see the forest for the trees. I asked you about your band size and level to share with you the fact that, I did not get to my sweet spot until I had more than the recommended level in my band. I have a 4 cc band but I did not get good restriction until I got to 4.8 in my band. My point in asking you were to ask you if perhaps since your problem is lack of restriction, I have never seen you say you had any other problems other than lack of restriction, maybe you to may need more saline than the recommended level .
You cant tell me that I dont care, you dont know my heart, however even if my words doesnt help you...it may help someone else who are having restriction problems and think that because they are at the recommended level, that they cant get anymore saline...so I press onward.
I count my blessing everyday and I dont try to make those dont feel worse about not having a working band.

You said "I had an unfill about three weeks ago due to being too tight then had that fill put back" "I am honestly not ready to try another fill at this time"..I just want to say, dont be afraid to try another fill due to you being to tight...but take it as small fill...if 3.5 makes you to tight, you will be amaze what 3.4 can do and some because think of cc, if they are too tight at 3.5, they have their doctor take out the .5 putting them down to 3.00 and that is too loose for them. When you get to the point where you are too tight, then at this time I think your doctor should start filling a the in the point... .1. .2 or even .50
ETA, the 3.5 is just a number that I picked out the sky for reference.

First of all, congrats on the 57 lbs!!! :)
Second... I'm just going to comment, and tell you what worked for ME.
Around 16-19 months, I hit a similar stall.
After fluctuation between 240-245 for months... much frustration, and talking to a few of my band girls..... I changed things up.
I used to work out for 45min to an hour, 3 or 4 days a week. I'd eat 1800-2000 calories a day. I wasnt getting NEARLY enough water in.
S0 - since December, I've increased my water to AT LEAST 100oz of water a day (I suck on the weekends, I have to be honest... I usually get 40-50oz in)
I've increased my workouts to AT LEAST an hour 5 days a week, sometimes 6 days, and sometimes I work out for 90 minutes.
I've also changed up my workouts. Instead of the elliptical all the time, I've started running.
I've incorporated more strength training as well.
This has worked for me... I've dropped 20 lbs since December... so just change it up. Play with it, and get to know what your body wants. My body was getting used to the same ol... so just find what works for you and go with it. Dont get discouraged and keep it going.
Also - this one is easier said than done, and after EVERYONE said it to me, I finally did it this weekend. Lose the scale. Not for good, I'm not completely crazy.... :) Just for awhile. I've decided to stop weighing myself so often. Im going by the fit of my clothes. If I'm losing inches, I'm happy with that... and you should be too!!
Good luck!! :)

My water intake goes a little somethng like this...
20oz bottle on the drive into work. (6:30 am)
I then drink 2, 16oz cups of coffee (I finish these by 8:30ish)
after the cofffee, I drink one, 32oz bottle of water
I then eat breakfast (usually around 10:00 am)
Lunch is around noon
Then my 2nd 32oz bottle of water between 1:00 - 1:30.
I dont drink again until I hit the gym around 4:30. Where I drink my last 20oz bottle of water for the day.
Its VERY hard... dont get me wrong. But I tell myself... no breakfast until those 32oz are gone.... and if I want an afternoon snack... not until the 2nd 32oz are gone. For the most part, I stick to this daily.... but like I said, the weekends are HARD! I usually only get my water in while Im in the gym on the weekends. And thats usually only 30-40oz. I'm trying to work on that though.

Do this - Write down the following:
1) what I am eating (record it for at least a few days to see how many calories, carbs, Proteins, etc.)
2) how am I moving (how many calories are you burning? Are you doing aerobic or strength training - mix it up - it keeps your body from adjusting to the same old workout.)
3) what am I drinking (we know you need at least 64 ounces of liquid - how much of that holds extra calories you can do without - not to mention drinking enough fluids can help with your weight loss.)
Good luck! (I think I will follow my own advice too!!)
