Have a question!!!

You've had a lot of good responses already Vickie.  I'll just add that I wouldn't rule out depression.  I've taken depression meds for years but before I was diagnossed I had no idea that I had depression.  I was more irritable, impatient and anxious than what I considered depressed, i.e. sad.  I had no energy and lost interest in things I used to enjoy.  When I wasn't working I had no energy and started laying around, (and eating) more.  Anti depressants make a huge difference for me and I can't imagine life without them.

Vitamin D deficiency is very common and there's a good chance it could be contributing to your lack of energy, especially if you don't get a lot of natural sunshine.

Have you ever been tested for Sleep Apnea.  That's another thing I never thought I had until I had a sleep study as part of my pre-op requirements.  During the 7 hours I slept I woke up 142 times!  The first night I slept with the c-pap machine I slept like a baby and couldn't believe how great I felt in the morning!  Since I lost 100 + lbs I don't need it any more, but I loved the difference that machine made in my energy level.  It's amazing that I was so sleep deprived but didn't know it.

So, there's my 2 cents worth.

Have a talk with your Dr. about the possibility of depression, have them do some expanded blood work, and get a sleep study, (especially if you snore).

I hope you find some relief soon.

Lisa...you are so right on the money about the depression... I was so very irritable and impatient and angry..and I had palpatations... until I started on my antidepressant meds...

I did not realize my irritability could be related to it too...............
