Just wanted to say congrats and I'm sure everything will go perfectly.

I do know a lapBander that had two babies and she's doing fine.  she got an unfill at the beginning of her pregnancy and then she startef to get refilled  two months after the baby was born and was able to lose the weight again and again!!!

Hello and congrats! I just delivered my first baby 6 weeks ago, and I've been banded a little over 2 years now. I was blessed with a healthy and uneventful pregnancy. I did have to get half of my fluid taken out when I was about 25 weeks along because I was getting shoulder pain from being too tight. After that point, I started gaining weight and ended up gaining 48 pounds total. I'm going back to my surgeon in about a week to have my fill put back in so I can get back on track... and I'm looking forward to it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

I hit my goal only to have 3 pregnancies in 3.5 years.  I swear, as soon as the sperm hit the egg, my hormones were out of control and I needed an unfill immediately.  Right now, I have put on 50 lbs.  (20 from the first one, 20 from the second one and 10 from the current one and I am 24 weeks)  I plan on breast feeding so I am going to leave my band open about 6-8 weeks to ensure that I am getting good liquids and food in for him then I am going to tighten that sucker up  :)

My only fear is that over the last 3 years, it has been all about pregnancy and not working out.  I am not sure how I am going to incorporate that back into my life with 2 kids under 2 (I lost the babies in the first pregnancy.)  It is definitely going to be a challenge but I also stare enviously as my old jeans and old photos and want that life back  :)

Congrats to you!

Stacy

I know the feeling. I'm scared that all this hard work will be for nothing, but I'm willing to take that chance. After the baby is born I'll just have to work a little harder. Congrats and Best wishes!
