Hi everyone. it's been a real long time and about 40 pounds gained since my lowest weight loss. For two years I didn't have restriction on my band due to auto accident and severe neck injuries. I'm one year post op for my neck and had my band tightened on Wednesday 3/9. I have some real good restriction almost discomforting since I haven't felt that n a long time. I have been eating lentil soup some fruits and some broiled fish. I was eating like an animal and i cant believe the difference. I know I need to exercise but it is difficult since i also need a back surgery from the accident. I hope this jump starts me back to get these 40 pounds back off and then a little bit more. has anyone had a similar experience they can share? reason why I'm asking is that I want to know how your doing or did after a two year fluid removal from your band. thank you.

Hello

I was responding because you mentioned trouble with exercise because of your neck injury.  I know someone with fibromyalgia and she does some exercises that doesn't cause more pain.  Try an exercise bike.  My friend's favorite is those water aerobics.  She said it actually helps with the pain...the warm water and the motion of the water feels good on her muscles.  You can try begining yoga too.  I hope you are able to get back on track.  Good luck.

Hi Eric,

I was just thinking of water excersises too.  Do you have access to a place with a pool? My mom was in a bad accident years ago and she has some bad back problems  -- she finds water fitness is very helpful.  I'm thinking of giving it a try because it sounds so much more fun than "regular" excersises.
