Anyone notice the Paula Dean Ad at the top of screen?

Seems kind of funny/ironic to see the queen of cooking on an obesity help site.

LoL I hadn't noticed but that is pretty ironic.  I like Paula Deen but some of her recipes are scary, so much butter, Yuck!  I have friends who swear by her recipes, but I wont even try it if it is fried, filled with (ewww) butter or (double ewww) mayo.

Have you done a search on  your computer or been to a website regarding her?

The reason I ask, is a few months ago, my DH was doing searches on the computer for skid loader parts.  And I about died when I saw "skid steer" advertisements flashing above.  Tractor parts on OH? hahahahahahahahahaha   Pretty funny!  I'm sure no one else saw them.

OMG you are totally right and I am NOT crazy!  I was on the Saks Fifth Avenue website yesterday morning shoe shopping.  I ended up buying a pair of Jimmy Choo's and 2 pairs of Christian Louboutins.  Fast forward to last night on OH and there were ads up top specifically for Jimmy Choo's at Saks Fifth Avenue.  WTF?  There is NO way that is a coincidence!!!  lol

Now that is smart advertising.  Facebook does the same thing - linking ads to key words on your profile page/comments.  Crazy technology!

This is exactly why I have Adblock plus (an ad-blocker) and Abine (privacy protector) installed on my computer.

I don't see ads and ads don't follow me around.. or if they do I don't see them.  :)

Actually, we're not referring to "pop-up" ads...we are talking about the banner ads at the top and bottom of the OH website.  :)
