WOW second fill feels so much diffrent..
Well I went yesterday and got my second fill. They put 2cc in the band. I know have 5cc in my band. I'm doing ok but it is really different from the first fill. My first fill I didn't really have any restriction but this time I DO. I am really having to take my time. When I drink and eat. I started eating soft foods today. I am really learning alot about my band. My Dr. says I'm doing great and that I am were they want me to be. That made me feel good to hear them say that. I am just a little nervous because it is real restriction now. I think I'm going to write down everything that I can eat and everything I can't eat. Just to keep track.

Jessica -- sounds like you are doing great.
Be sure to 'tread lightly' as you move forward in your eating. Baby bites --- and 'chew til it's goo' until you know what you can tolerate and what is not good for you.
I visualized with every fill that my band was tighter -- and started over with my eating -- being very careful.
I got what I think will be my last fill today -- just .25cc to help me out. I hit my goal weight, but want to lose about 8 more pounds to have a comfort zone .
I got fills with about every 15 - 20 pound loss. At first that was happening every 3 - 4 weeks for me -- then it took 6 weeks, then 8 - 10 weeks ---- now, I won't see my doctor again for 6 months (except at Support group meetings).
Writing down your food is never a bad idea ---- keep up the great work!!!

Yes, tread carefully.
My last fill was in December, got .2cc added to bring me up to 6cc's. I felt a little bit of difference right away.. then 10 days later WHAM.. got a big difference.
Just sharing to let you know that the fill can make itself known a few days later as well as immediately.
I've always journaled my food intake. I use livestrong.com/thedailyplate, others use fitnesspal or fitday. there are many out there. I like dailyplate as it seems most complete to me, and it lets me print out a sheet to take in when I see my nurse/doc/whoever.
Congrats on getting a sense of fullness on 2nd fill. :)

That's great. You lost a ton of weight. I had my surgery the day after you and they are happy with my progress and I'm hoping that I get my 2nd fill this time. I only had 1 cause they were satified with me, I want to loss a little faster as I can eat alot of food at dinner and really have to be careful not to get into evening bad habits. I know that when I have a little more restriction that I will get full fast. Good luck and keep up the good work....
