HELP I am falling off the wagon
I have been good and bad, mostly bad actually....I havent gained any weight but have not lost in 3 months! I lost a few and it balanced out with me falling off the wagon...I have been snacking like crazy, I am such an addict of sugar..I feel lost...I had the band done in July 2010 and I am proud to say I have lost over 60lbs but I am not near where I want to be and I am playing this game..I was so focused and now I lost it...I am thinking of starting the pouch diet tomorrow to get all these carbs and sugar out of my system...I know how hungry I will be but I think I need a new start,,,any advice please will be appreciated! Also I am only at 3cc's and havent had a fill since January as I was getting reflux before...please can someone help me!

Okay time to take a deep breath, now I did the same thing off and on my first 3 years-I finally made it to goal but probably took longer than most. I would do great, fall off the wagon a few months but then get back my motivation and lose again and so on. The great thing is I never gained weight during my "off the wagon" times I just didn't lose soooo like you when I decided I need to start back up again I had no problem losing.
The 5dpt is a great way to get rid of the carbs and sugar I have done the 5dpt several times and boy does it help. I actually recently (2 weeks ago) finished the 5dpt and I feel calm and totally under control. I am eating way better and I'm not craving snacks, chips or sugar AT ALL.
I only have 2.4cc in my band and haven't had a fill since 2006, I know it's not my band it's my damn head-I will always have this addiction but with my band I now have my for life tool. Good luck and please keep on posting you will get through this! Karianne

I haven't gotten to join the band wagon yet, but plan to by this summer. I did just this week find something that really stopped my cravings for sugar. It will sound odd that it did, but when you think about it, where does the body get it's nutrients? Not in the stomach, though digestion is a large portion of that. I'm kind of thinking cravings come as a result of what is or isn't process through the intestines, since I started doing a "whole body cleanse" and that entails a colon cleansing process through fiber pills, etc. Within two days of starting the process, I found I wasn't craving sweets at all. I'm feeling much better, though the first few days I was feeling "detoxed".
I am in the exact same boat. I had the band the same month you did and have lost 45 pounds. For the past 3 months I have been playing games and have not lost any more weight. I am happy to say that with the band at least I haven't gained any back. What is the pouch diet you are talking about? Sugar is my biggest downfall and I would love to minimize my cravings.
It is liquids for the first 2 days and than slowly introducing food back into your system, if you google it you will find it...I thought about it and decided to just start over tomorrow...I am going to follow my Drs diet and eat my 3 meals and 3 snacks and see how I do, I think if I do the liquids I may feel very hungry BUT I am not doing anything with SUGAR..I need to stop it now! I even binge on the sugar free stuff so right now I am going to start fresh in the morning and start trying to drink more water because I do not drink hardly anything but maybe if I am lucky 32oz a day and I think I need to up my intake..tomorrow is a new start and I am not giving up. Thank you for all your support and for all your help!
