Question for the "Seasoned" banders please

Need your thoughts please.

21/2 years out, no complications whatsoever, however I had a fill two weeks ago and Thursday night I know I overate some nuts.

I know this because I started sliming and made the motion to get sick but didn't.

I feel sure the fill kicked in a little also because prior to this happening it was getting tighter.

With that said, when I drink now the right side under my armpit somewhat hurts.  Nothing major but definitely noticable.

The drs. office said to give it until Monday to see what happens.

Do you think I could possibly be swollen? If so, isn't it kinda strange that's it the right side under armpit?

Appreciate your thoughts.

Sandra

Right side under the armpit is a new one on me!! Could it be totally unconnected to eating - a pulled muscle or something?

I've been too tight before and slimed and puked but never with a residual pain under my arm.  Is your port on the right side? And are you drinking something cold when that happened? Im thinking, you are a little swollen, the cold kinda triggers a constriction and crampy feeling. I would drink room temp or warm liquids and see if you get the same result.  But if you are swollen, go back to soft foods till Monday then try to eat again.
I've had to get an unfill because i was so tight i cud only eat junk food!  Very counter-productive!

I've never had that particular occurence, but referred pain can be a strange thing.

many years ago I had an ovarian cyst that ruptured and bled up under my diaphragm.  It caused shoulder pain.

Swelling could irritate a nerve that is causing the armpit pain..  I don't know where nerves go well enough to say for certain.  :)

definitely this is from the nut incident.

I thought warm would be better also actually cold is better.

I just ate a fage yogurt and kept it down but I feel that pain around "right" breast.

Strange.

This is a new one.  Possibly referred pain from diaphragm?  Some kind of nerve involvement?

You will have to let us know what happens and I hope the feeling goes away for you.  Strange!

Glad your doing better Sandra.  I'm glad you posted this, as I have found that I get referred pain to my left shoulder/neck region when I'm stuck.  It took me a long time to recognize it, and now I can sense it when I'm getting close to being stuck (foods like pork--which sometimes work for me and sometimes don't).

Thanks for sharing!

Just want to post an update so that if a newbie comes here in the future, they will know what the outcome is.

I am doing much better.  I'm going to chalk it up to my fill kicking in two weeks later and overeating the peanuts.  I think I definitely irritated something.

Anyways, thanks to those *****plied.
