Exercise certainly does help with weight loss but the #1 factor is what you put in your mouth.  Stick to your diet and you shouldn't gain an ounce.

The band got me to goal, the sleeve will keep me there.

I am sorry to hear about your problems - sounds really nasty!

Exercise obviously helps us to tone our bodies and helps overall weight loss but the basic equation of calories in and calories out applies whether we exercise or not. So if you keep to band style eating, you should not gain weight. (I don't know if any of your meds cause weight gain.)

I am actually a non-exerciser and still lost all my excess weight in 15 months.

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Kate,
My meds can also a weight gain but so far I have being lucky I have pretty well maintain my weight but they won't do a fill until I get my other helpproblems under control because some of my medicines have made me very sick so they don't want to add more problems for me which I understand completly
Thanks to know you lost without exercising that's encouraging

Cathie,

Sorry to hear about your neck injury.  I will be thinking about you on Wednesday.  Just take it easy and don't worry about the scale.  Follow your normal band eating plan and drinks lots of fluids.

Let us know how your surgery goes when you are up to it!

Take care,
Kristi
