 My dr takes me off one of my BP meds. Happy Happy Joy Joy
Everything else stays the same- what I eat, drinking my water, exercising.
I gain 5 lbs in 1 week WTF?

If your BP pill had a water pill in it too...that could account for the weight gain.  You are retaining water now.

Did your blood pressure med have a dieuretic in it?  Hydrochlorothiazide?  You probably are retaining fluid is my guess?  How is your blood pressure doing?

 Thank you both for saying what I was thinking. It did have a dieuretic in it. My fingers look like sausages and I am not peeing enough. I always blame myself first.
So now what do i do to rid myself of the water?
Will time take care of it or ???
I am drinking 64 oz of water a day.
I have to go back in 2 weeks to check my pressure I will go this weekend to check it in a CVS or one of those places that has a pressure machine.

Good idea to check your pressure this weekend.  I'd watch the sodium content in your foods.  Is your urine light colored or dark?  If dark you could try a little more water.

 fish and asparagus for dinner gained  another pound and a half . I went to a cvs but my arm is too big.
I did it anyway with the forearm which isn't as accurate. my bottom  is in the 70's and top went up 40 points. Oh yea and my fingers are mega swollen. trying not to get crazed buttttttttt

I would just call your Dr. and let them know what's going on with all the swelling.  Since you don't know what your pressure is, I would call, they might need to decrease your dose and not have you off if completely or just  have you on the dieuretic.  What were you on?

No worries Wendy!  BP meds have diuretics in them...I gain 3 lbs in one day if I skip my meds.  It's water, not fat.  Be sure to check your BP to see if you are in the normal range without the meds.  Eat some asparagus (cut into 1/4 inch pieces, lol)...it is a natural diuretic!
