OT: Unfriended on FB
I also unfriend people for all kinds of reasons. You are not obligated to maintain any relationship that is not worth the investment of time and energy it takes to keep it up. (unless they are your children... Then you should probably just grin and bear it.) Don't feel bad for unfriending people, if you are thinking about doing it then your relationship is already at the point where they probably won't notice anyway and once you are at that point, I would guess that they aren't close friends that will be calling you to ask why. That is the beauty of facebook, it is a guilt free system of staying connected with the people you can handle while sifting through the ones you can't.
I've removed people who have become spammy, tried to sell something (a certain life coach who likes to advertise on these boards comes to mind), and I removed a woman who argues that AIDS is not linked to HIV. She's an academic, she ignores real research because she's trying to be controversial and I was just sick of her nonsense.
i just cleaned house. lol had well over 100 friends on fb and I'm down to 30 something i think.. I just went though and got rid of all the ones i don't know, and r don't ever talk to. AND i had all my x girlfriends and even my xwife on there that i did not even no was there.. No hard feeling and if there r then i really don't care...

Have you ever unfriended someone on facebook, and if so why? Have you ever been unfriended? I'm thinking about unfriending a few people on FB, but I don't want to hurt feelings. It's just Facebook! That's all, nothing of value. If they have hurt feelings over that they have more issues than hurt feelings going on.
