My hats off to both of you!  I have been unfilled for 6 weeks and I am sturggling with carbs.  For some reason the longer the time unfilled the more I'm craving them.  I am eating more than I know I should.  I am looking forward to a fill on Monday.

HANG In there Tracy!!!! I am doing things to curb those desires, I am drinking even more water lol I think I might float away but that's okay, and just reminding self how poison for me those things are. I am sure you are doing great and grats on your fill on Monday :)  Keep me posted :)

I was unfilled yesterday due to having surgery next Thursday (complete hysterectomy). It just made me sick to think of my band having fluid taken out, so scared i will gain a ton of weight. They only removed 2 cc's that made me feel better, i was afraid they would completely unfill me. Last night i ate my dinner as usual and i never did get hungry like i was afraid i would be, i did drink alot more water last night. This morning breakfast as usual, i just have to watch what i eat until i get filled again.  They last thing they said to me after the unfill was to remember not to go on a band vacation. I can't get a fill until i am released from my OB doctor.
It sounds like you are doing well with your band beinng empty, we just have to remember to follow the band rules, and we will get throught this.

Hi Lisa,
Life took a roller coaster ride and my band paid for it (Dr says that stress on body caused stress on band)  anyhow had a slip and stomach swollen over band, was very sick. Had an unfill and doing alot better, pain is gone, can eat, drink and no chest pain. :)  Going to watch my P's and Q's for a month, get a fill and then keep on living :) Have a bit of nervousness that I will wake up and be old fat me ....but realize also how irrational that is as long as I behave.  Working on that along with increasing my contact with my support people. :)  Its gonna be okay, just a little side chapter that I hadn't really thought I would have to deal with, but it will make for a better life read I expect. :)  Hope you are doing well :)

just keep swimming :)

Thanks for filling me in, Swoosh!  I'm so sorry for your trouble but if anyone can beat this, you can.  I have faith in you.

Please count on me if you need support, ANYTIME!

You're in my prayers,
