Gym Membership
Yes, after almost 5 months since surgery and I'm only down 21 lbs since then (after liquid diet ended), i'm finally purchasing a gym membership and planning my workouts. There are a few near my house and I'm interviewing them for what they have v. price - trying to decide if I need a pool in my gym, if I can drive the extra 5 miles, if I want a membership or if I want to have pay as I go and what the costs are after my initial period expires.
I'd already purchased a treadmill (my favorite piece of equipment) and have used it about once every other week and have increased my walking, and my eating is down, but I think I really need the free weights and need to kick my body into shape to start burning more calories.
As a former collegiate athlete, I'm actually looking forward to making the time to do this and have been looking online for training programs that I can use as a guide through this - with my own tweaks as well.

Congrats on your weight loss.
21 lbs is better off you than on. Some people lose slower than others. Not everyone is the same so don't worry slow and steady.
I think the pool thing is a personal choice. For me it is important and I do aquacize once a week. I think exercise was the key for my weight loss of course as well as the food intake.
