PMS cravings!!!
Hi girls!!
I am new here, I posted in my blog yesterday and just figured out here is where to post comments/questions..
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to defeat the PMS cravings?? I give in with nuts, seeds, and sugar free chocolate. I have had some regular chocolate my husband eats, but I feel terrible about it! Trying to keep my mind off of it, but it's really hard to be a girl.
I'm already done with it (flo) but I want to be prepared for next month.

What I did was I found something that is low calorie and carb that will satisfy my cravings. I like Breyers Carb Smart ice cream bars. They are 100 calories and 9 grams of carbs. They really hit the spot when I am craving something yummy. I don't eat these every day but I keep them on hand in case I want one.

I get the same way -- I want to eat a house for several days out out each month! Normally I'm not a snacker, but at TOM I feel like I could snack on anything. So I try to PLAN lower calorie snacks that I like AND that don't go down easy. Instead of my normal 3 meals a day, I might eat 6 or 7 times. At TOM it's not the quantity -- it's the feeling like I need to eat CONSTANTLY. I count everything into my total calories for the day.
Here are some snacks that work for me:
Hummas and wheat pita chips
sugar free pudding (any flavor -- cheesecake and lemon are my favs) mixed with Greek Yogurt and a little milk
veggies and dip
chicken salad (made with light miracle whip or lf mayo) on Kashi crackers
It's hard by hang in there!
