Help I had surgery on the 23 they put this sorta tape over the cuts do I take it off?

no if you try to pull them off you could run the risk of reopening the incision dont touch nothing.

I had glue on mine and it came off on its own in about three to four weeks .

First of all, congratulations to taking the plunge into your new banded life!
Always check with the surgeons office for specifics related to your surgeons preferences. My surgeon told me and the others in our group to leave the tape on until it fell off on it's own.

Definitely DO NOT remove the steri-strips (that is what the tape is called).  You will notice they lift on the ends and it is oh-so-tempting to pull them at that point but please allow them to fall off on their own.  I massaged my incision sites with warm soapy water in the shower and it did help in getting them to come off on their own a bit quicker. :)

And congratulations...you are on the way to a new you!
