wondering why at weight standstill already?
When I was about three weeks post op I gained 6 pounds and it didnt start to come back off me till I started to get reg with my food and started to exercise again.
Once I started that about 5 weeks out then it came off.
Dont worry it will get better and dont fret if you gain some more it happens during this stage sometimes :o)

100% normal. Relax, it will come off. Your body is in the healing stage right now. Losing 12 pounds so quickly, your body is just adjusting. Don't get frustrated, it will work! Congrats on your surgery!
hi, I just wanted to thank you for your reassurance. I am up and down with feeling good and feeling not so well the next day... I thought that 12 pounds was kind of quick. I need to stop weighing myself, and just do it maybe once a week. Thanks again, and congrats on your terrific loss! ShrinkingDaisy
oh gosh dont weight yourself every day that will just bum you out in the long run especially when you get down to losing only a pound or two a week .
If you weight yourself everyday then you see no weight coming off then you will get depressed and maybe start eating things you shouldnt eat.
Just weight in once a week if you do the everyday thing it plays way to many mind games with you :o)

I also agree with the above. Pick a day and weigh yourself once a week. I pick Friday morning cause i know i will probably put on a couple over the weekend.... And dont want to be discouraged.
As far a****ting a wall, we are all different with weight loss. You will learn to tweak the small things that make differences. You and your stomach are brand new to this. For me, after my surgery i had no sensation of hunger for 3-4 weeks. I was sipping Gatorade for weeks then forcing mushies when i was ready. I lost 40 lbs in the first month, then hit wall, after wall, after wall, therfore after. I hit a wall at 330, 320, 310, 300, 290 was my last wall. I am currently working on breaking into the 270's. Once you are healthy enough to truly exercise and push your self that will help tremendously.
It is a long journey with many peaks and valleys. You will and have to learn to be patiens, relax and enjoy the ride. It is not an overnight fix, but in a 6 months, then a year, then 18 months....you will look and feel amazing.
Whats wrond with 2 pounds every couple of days? That really adds up fast...do the math.
Good Luck.
