YEAH!!

After all this time I finally got my insurance approval today!  I cannot be happier.  I have waited so long for this and now it is finally set.  I will be getting my surgery on April 19th at 8:00 AM.  I just hope after all this hard work and hoop jumping that this will be the right tool for me!

Congrats Cristie!  What an exciting time!  Make sure you take before pics and measurements.  Journal your feelings about why you want the surgery, what obesity feels like right now to you.  It will help later on to read it and to look at those pics.  It's hard work, but your health is worth it!

 Thank you for the support!  I am ready to begin this new beginning in  my life.  Thanks for the advice TetraRose!  I never thought about writing in a journal about how much I dislike being this heavy.  It will be good to read when I hit a bump in the road!
