Thank you for NOT being lazy asses!
I just wanted to thank everyone here for providing me just enough motivation to get off my ass and workout tonight. I've been blowing off exercising for about a week (i started working at my husbands office last week), so ive been full of excuses of why i haven't gotten around to it. Today i was whining that i didn't want to work out today, that I hate working out. I was completely unmotivated. I even came here to see if i could find some forum posts claiming an unprecedented weight loss with no exercise... ever. Hmmm, needless to say i didn't find one. I even did a OH site search for "I hate working out" to see if i could maybe find an old post. Can you tell i was desperate to hear (or read) that working out isn't essential to weight loss? As if my 4 month stall hasn't already showed me that! I work out for a few weeks, get sick (a cold, sinus infections, etc..) and then stop until i feel better. Of course every time we stop working out its just that much harder to get back into it!
But anyway, thanks for not posting how you never work out and have given up any and all exercise. Today i worked out only because you guys do too!
You're awesome!!!!!

lol. I love to work out. Its the only "me" time that I get with two little guys at home! BUT it has to be at the gym or out playing with the boys in the yard or at the park. DVD's at home do absolutely nothing for me. Once you find something that you love to do, you may like it more.

Have you tried doing the exercise challenge on this board? It can motivate a person to maybe do a few more minutes to make their personal goal. I put up an exercise "journal" on the fridge and keep track of what I do and how many minutes etc. So every time I open the fridge or go near it, I see my goal and how much I have done.
Congrats on exercising. I know I always feel better after exercising.
