The naked truth (93lbs gone) - PG13
I haven't been on here in a while... been BUSY living life and working, relationships, hobbies, etc. I'm doing ok with my band. Have an appointment tomorrow. Got a small adjustment 1 month ago and I swear it didn't kick in till this past week. I have not been losing, even though I'm following weigh****chers (well, I was for 3 weeks then I decided not to cause I had only managed to gain half a pound.)
So whenever I'm feeling a little down on myself I like to compare photos. I hadn't taken any more in a long time. So I took one this morning and compared it with the first from just a couple of weeks after surgery. Warning that this isn't pretty, neither of them. But I blurred out the graphic bits ;) I feel kind of embarrassed to put this up here but I do want to share.
This is what 93 lbs gone looks like on me. As you can see I still have a ways to go, I'm thinking about 25 but it's coming off so slowly (er...not at all lately) so I'm just working on being happy with my progress and not worrying about it so much.
I know when I was new and pre-surgery, I loved seeing people's pictures (as much as they would show) to try to get an idea of what to expect.

thank you so much for being brave enough to share. It means more to me that you can possible know. As we embark on this journey our imaginations of what is possible run wild. The last time I saw my body at my goal weight, (160) was at 15 years old. My 160lb body today will be so foriegn for me... your sharing your progress gives me some landmarks... you are kind of like an inukshuk... pointing the direction I should go in my weightloss journey.
Good on ya!

Namaste! Peace! And may blessings abound!
Wow! You are looking good! I bet you just love your new smaller figure! I know what you mean by the slower weight loss now. The closer we are to goal, the longer it takes to drop pounds. I have been going through the same thing! I am beginning to think my body likes this weight! Keep up the hard work - you are doing great!
