Can I loose more than 100lb. with the band?

Hello from New Britain Bette! Thanks for all the encouragement and amazing stories. I have my first appointment with the doctor tommorow and I am nervous and excited! This day is just going so slow.

105 lbs, 15 more to go for me. I will get there, too. My surgeon's goal was 80 lbs, and I said , yeah, but I'm going to lose 100. He didn't discourage me, but he indicated that I was being overly ambitious with my goal.  He is thrilled, now!!

 I am 5'6", started at 280.
