hey y'all!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to check in and say hello. At one time, I visited this site several times a day. Here lately, I only visit about once per week, and even then I just read more than anything. I just wanted to check in and let you all know that I still love this board and my band. I am doing liquids right now (and have been since Monday) to help get myself back on track. I was really worried that I had stretched my pouch and my stomach was hurting some, so this has been a good way to get myself back. It has also helped with my food obsession, believe it or not.

Everyday I wake up thinking about food, plan my lunch (and not in a good way) by about 10:00 and am obsessing about dinner almost as quick as lunch is over. Now, even without food for 3 days, I find myself thinking about it less. I will go back to solids this weekend, but it has been a great way to get myself back on trac****il then, protein supplements, and plenty of water.

You all take care. I'll check back in from time to time.

Ohhh, getting back to basics, sounds like a great idea, I've never went so far as trying the liquids, but that must really detox you. Like when we were first banded.
I re-started doing the c25k, this time on a treadmill, much easier than doing it outside. LOL
Nice seeing you again, and continued good luck.

I wish you strength on your journey to getting back on track.  It's a lifelong process and we are never done, are we?  Good to see you on the board. Let us know how it's going!

Thanks for your message.  I am still in the post surgery uphoria of my first 20 pounds lost (since I first saw my surgeon last Spring).  I couldn't be happier but need to focus on the lifelong changes I need to make for this to be a complete success.  I find posts such as your inspirational and wish you all the best. I miss your posts and wish you well.  I know I really need to detox myself.  Those darn carbs are killing me.  I haven't gain but really can tell the difference with my cravings and I have to get it together before I start gaining any weight.

Way to be my friend! You know where I am when you need a boost! You are almost thru your first week and think of it this way, those cravings have been beaten down and there is a light at the end of the tunnel! Those pounds will be gone before you know it!

And I say this lovingly - PUT DOWN THE DIET COKE! Unless you want to share of course!
