Port discomfort

Does anyone else ever have what I would consider mild discomfort at their port area? Maybe it's just cause it skeeves me out but sometimes if I lay on my side or bend too far towards the side with the port it just feels kinda sore-ish.

Yes, just recently actually....I dont know if I twisted wrong, slept wrong (im a belly sleeper), or what the deal is but Ive noticed that my port site has been a little sore lately....not a constant feeling just there once in a while.

Occasionally I get a bit of discomfort in the port area, but not as bad as when I had the older style port.  Usually it's because I irritated it somehow, like carrying my laundry basket, and resting it on my abdomen, or doing certain core exercises.

I also have some discomfort in the port area at times specially when I sit on my couch it presses on something,so I move to a chair and it don't hurt anymore.
In 2 hours I am going to get my 1st fill,it is about time I am eating to much food.

Thanks everyone. I always had concerns that something might be wrong with it but I feel much better now!

Hi, I definitely can see and feel my port and I am only 2 weeks + a few days post op... hurts me to bend forward ( like tying shoes) sticks into me, or feels like it. It also is a bit dented in, now that my swelling has gone down.  Hope this helps... shrinking daisy
