I love Richard Simmons.  The reason why I love him so much was because he was overweight and he knows how hard it is to exercise and how hard it is to lose weight.

His DVD's are awesome .  He made it for the  heavier people, and he has heavy people in his tapes and has great music .  I really get a workout with him I dont do anybody but him .

I can not exercise to all these skinny people that has been skinny all their life and know nothing about being over weight and say how it easy it is makes me want to slap them through the tv lol.

Plus I have met Richard several times and he is such a sweetheart lol.

I really like lesllie sansone of walk away the pounds because the DVDs are very simple. There are two that get your blood pumping a bit more than her walk away the pounds series. 3 mile slim and sleek walk with pilates and walk slim 4 fast miles. She has a bazillion of them so I read the reviews on amazon and have my hubby order them on net flicks so I can try them out.

Leslie is annoying with all the chatter and it is based on 4 simple moves. I turn down the sound and play my own tunes. I have knee problems and aversion to exercise in general so these work for me. I have a colleague who always asks.. What is the best exercise? The answer is the one you'll do.

You might just look at amazon in general to see what other people who liked your fave video bought

On the days that I don't go to the gym, I enjoy the kettleworx series or any kettlebell DVD. It is weightlifiting as well as some cardio. I have a DVD that is only weightlifting, so I pause the DVD between each series and add one minute of cardio in between. It is a great workout!!!

Denise Austin is wonderful. She has been around for a very long time and almost all of the moves are easy to do for someone my size. But she shows you different ways to do the same move , a harder and easier version. She also has such a great inspiring spirit  like no other

I love Zumba. I took a class at first to get used to it then when I felt I had mastered the moves, I bought the DVD's. I hate to exercise for the most part, BUT I LOVE to dance so Zumba is dancing and exercise together and I love that!! Good luck!
