plain popcorn
DS on 08/20/12
I haven't tried plain popcorn. But my kids got some kettle corn at the mall the other day and I couldn't resist sampling it. I let it dissolve in my mouth then chewed before swallowing. I had no problems with it other than a little guilt afterwards.
I didn't eat popcorn for over 18 months, then started eating it. I do fine the day I eat it but the next day I am very tight. Not sure why, but I've decided to stop eating it. I know a lot of people do fine with it. For those of us who don't I believe I read it may have something to do with the hulls. You could ask your Dr what he thinks, or try and find the hull less type.

I'm alittle over 4 mos post op and have had popcorn a few times without any problems. Thank goodness, because I love popcorn. I do however measure 1 cup and that's all I eat. I eat it slow and really enjoy it.

I'm afraid of getting a kernel stuck so I get the white cheddar corn puffs at Trader Joes. No kernels but addictive!
