Overwhelmed with insurance requirements

I have Washington Teamsters insurance. They require 3days a week/  1/2 hour session with personal trainer and I can't find anyone.   I finally bought 12 1 hour sessions at $55 each out of desperation and I know I can't afford to go on at that price.  Any suggestions?  I feel so discouraged and overwhelmed.  Plus, I have systemic Lupus and I hurt for three days after each session.  :(

Unbelievable.  Does the insurance have a list of personal trainers that you could use at a discount? Also contact the doctor who does this surgery and takes that insurance.  Maybe they can suggest something.  Good luck.

I'll call the Doctors office first and then insurance to see if they have any reccomendations.  Thank you for the advice, I didn't think to go go that route. :)

You are welcome.  I was self pay but I still had to jumps through a lot of hoops.  My best advice to you is get copies of everything and then when some entity says they didn't get the paperwork ,and they will.  You can fax it too them.  Example, the Dr's office said they didn't get the pysch report , or labs.  Luckily I had copies of everything and faxed it to them.  It also is a good idea to take copies to the hospital, just in case.  So many people and papers, best that you keep as much track of everything as you can.
