Lifetime!!!!!!!

Yesterday at my Weigh****cher's meeting, I got my Lifetime acheivement award.

I am a WW 'retread' --- I bet that I have belonged to WW 10 times over the years --
Here is my old WW history

Join -- all excited, 'ready' to do it
Lose -- 10, 20, up to about 60 pounds
Stall -- get tired, hungry, lazy, frustrated at spending money to lose/gain the same pound over and over
Drop out --- leave the program out of disgust
Gain --- everything I lost plus about 10 pounds for each 'cycle' of WW
Shame -- too embarassed that I re-gained the weight to go back

This time with my band buddy
Join -- all excited 'ready'  to do it
Lose -- 20 months of losing -- (1 gain along the way, lost it the next week)
Goal -- 130 pounds gone
Maintain -- 6 weeks of maintaining
Lifetime -- finally

Now -- instead of paying WW, I am going to 'pay myself' and add a charm to my Pandora bracelet for every month that I maintain my weight loss!

Oh, Kath!  I'm so excited for you!  What a great achievement.  We want a pic of your bracelet and with you wearing it!  : )

20 months of losing with only 1 gain has got to be a WW record and a band record.  Dang, that is so impressive!

Congrats, I'm so proud of you!

Hugs,
Kristi

Congratulations!  Sounds somewhat like my life story- not to mention Adkins,  Jenny Craig, "diet-of-the-month diets", etc.  Only 35 pounds to go and I too will be ready to maintain! Congratulations  on your success!

Yahoo!  I have done Weigh****chers a few times and I forgot about my Lifetime ribbon.  I am seriously thinking about joining again now that I have a Band Buddy too.  It sure makes a big difference.  Congrats, as my Weigh****chers leader used to say,

"Nothing tastes as good as thin feels"

You go girl.  You really need to buy an extra charm which reminds you  of your band and add it to your bracelet maybe some sort of a circle or even a heart.

CONGRATULATIONS!  The closest I ever got was within 1/4 lb. of goal.  Then I went off, started gaining, and never went back :-(  Sound familiar?

I love the WW program.  I've been on a LOT of diets in my 51 years, and I truly believe that WW gives the best education and support for a balanced, realistic diet of any program I've been on.

I was reading on the Main Forum yesterday, and someone was commenting on "other surgeries" (i.e. anything other than the surgery the op had) and said something like, "I'm always amazed how people with other surgeries are on Weigh****chers 3-4 years out!"  I thought to myself, "and what is wrong with that?"  Maybe that they waited 3-4 years?  There's nothing wrong with WW, and it can give a good base of nutrition knowledge, accountability, and support.  I know that not everyone needs a structured program, nor does everyone want to "diet", but many, many people can benefit from WW, whether they've had wls or not.

Congratulations! I've heard lots of good things about WW. Personally I think the accountability is the best thing.
