saliva and coughing

I had surgery wed. Today I'm coughing and seem to have more saliva. I have been having mostly fluids a little bit of jello not much protein shake. I know my stomach is swollen but this is weird.

I am 10 days post-op and I have had fluid in my throat and right after surgery it sounded like a smokers caugh. It took time to get better. I still have e bit.
