any gas relief suggestions? gas pains laughing at Gas-X

had surgery 2/18, this is my second time with the band due to slippage. any suggestions on killing this gas, cuz my gas is laughing at Gas X!

 It's gas inside your ABDOMEN, not inside your digestive system, so Gas X really shouldn't do anything. Try moving around, even if it's just walking/pacing, as much as possible. It has to dissipate on its own, and that can take a week or so.

Thanks for that tip; I did walk yesterday morning, and yesterday evening, and have had some burps and other "gas relief" happen. I will continue with this

I agree with Bette. Walk Walk Walk, every few steps will be a tiny burp and increasing relief.

Thank you for this; I posted back to Bette my "gas release" progress after having walked twice yesterday. About to drink some warm tea, then get a walk in before it gets hot outside

I found flapping my arms like a chicken really helped!  Congrats on your new band!!

Two suggestions try a heating pad for relaxing muscles and letting things "move" thru. Also lay on your back and pull your knees up to your chest, this seems to help move things along too. Good luck, this too shall pass!
