Hi everyone, to start I had my RNY back in 2003, I went from 297 to 137pds in a matter of a yr, nice right? But now almost 8yrs later I have regained back to 194pds, ouch, I felt I have failed myself but I can eat anythgin I want now. So I now have a date with a surgeon for a lap band revision(March 7th). I feel for me this is best cause I dont want another drastic surgery, I just want to retrain myself back to where I was. I keep reading these posts of your band being tight, I am concerned about this, I know alot of adjusting can be needed but the tight feeling? Does it hurt too? Just asking for future references from my fellow lap band friends..

When I was too tight once it was mostly uncomfortable but it was painful too.  But I got a slight unfill and I was fine after that.

Lap Band on 11/16/10 with
Had my band surgery on November 16th. Haven't had a fill yet. Feel a little tight in the morning. Can't even all it uncomfortable. A nice warm cup of coffee or tea does the trick.

I had my lap-band since 12.14.11.. and i have lost 36 pounds. the lap band is a tool to jump start your weight lost. but trust me sweetie is all worth it in the end. A lot of people always asked why i was choosing the easy way out but people didn't know my struggle.
